UNIQUE PRACTICAL DESIGN
Our NonaPod® has nine sides and has been reverse engineered so that it is easy to build using standard easy to find 1220 x 2440mm (4ft x 8ft) sheet materials. Whether you want us to build it for you or you want to embark on the project yourself, the NonaPod® is a striking design with lots of practical features. Raised off the ground there is easy access to the cavernous sub-floor for plumbing, electrics, ECO waste disposal and water storage. The apex roof is convenient for solar panels on either side of the pod. The large surface area of the sub-floor does not require a permanent foundation, saving time and money.
FOR THE DO-IT-YOURSELF ENTHUSIAST
Create your bespoke sanctuary with our easy-to-build pods. Colour coded pieces and diagrams help construct the strong framework quickly using only one tool. The pod frame is lightweight, flat packed, transportable and fits a small van or SUV. If it’s for seasonal use, you can easily dismantle the frame to move or store.
UNPREDICTABLE WEATHER - THE NEW “NORMAL”
The NonaPod® is raised off the ground to prevent flooding destroying the contents of the pod. This increases the potential locations where the pod can be situated, including lake and river views. The non corrosive aluminium subframe can be situated in water or near salty coastal locations.
ECO AND LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT
We use recycled British aluminium for the pod frame, and wherever possible recycled composite decking and cladding. The well insulated floor and walls keep heating costs down and regulate temperature in summer. And with British made bi-fold double glazing doors with internal blinds to ensure privacy and silence.

It is important for us to source all our materials, wherever possible, from right here in the UK. Starting with our super-strong, all aluminium, skeletal frame. The LOCX® System is the simplest construction method available, providing a lightweight, non corrosive, maintenance free alternative to traditional building methods with a minimum lifespan of 75 years.

We’ve been making luxury ‘levitating’ beds for the past 8 years and we know a thing or two about the importance of a great night’s sleep... so our focus of the pod is the bed! No more cluttered, cramped and claustrophobic spaces, no more small uncomfortable beds. We want you to feel free to stretch out on our big comfy king & superking beds and enjoy the atmosphere and space!
